Spain Mobility

          Seven 8th graders and 2 accompaning teachers from School No. 11 Botoșani have spent 8 days at Centro Educativo ”Maria Inmaculada” in Cordoba, between 18th -25th of March this year.

          The Erasmus + programme gave us the opportunity to enjoy a new and exciting experience in a school in Spain, in order to develop our English communication skills, to get to work as a team with new people and to get accustomed (though for a short time) to a completely different learning environment.

           Meeting the students and teachers in Centro Educativo was a chance to realize how similar we are in many ways, to get engaged in an athmosphere of friendship and cooperation, to work together in teams on interesting Math, Language or Science projects. We made new friends who we shared opinions, ideas and knowledge with.

         It was an amazing experience from a cultural point of view as well. We were amazed by the rich and fascinating history of Cordoba, Malaga and Granada. We could see, at first hand, the Arabic heritage all over the place and we admired the beauty of the Roman Bridge and the massive Mezzguita in Cordoba, the splendour of the Cathedral in Malaga or the luxurious Alhambra Palace in Granada.

It was truely a history lesson about Andalusia which will be unforgettable for all of us.
